A proper farm-yard welcome — donkey rides for the little ones, egg-collecting and plenty of friendly faces.
Children quickly find their favourite resident at Mill Farm. There are gentle donkey rides around the paddock, chickens to chase (gently) and eggs to collect for breakfast — all with the family on hand to introduce everyone properly.
It's one of the simple pleasures of a stay here, and a reminder that children don't need much more than mud, animals and a little freedom to be utterly happy.
Most farm-animal experiences are complimentary for guests and run on a relaxed, drop-in basis throughout your stay. Donkey rides are £10 per ride.
