Unique Accommodation at Mill Farm Glamping
Here at Mill Farm Glamping, we’re delighted to have a fantastic range of accommodation for our guests to choose from: luxury canvas lodges, shire houses, a treehouse, and a farmhouse.
Our beautiful Mill Farm House is a stunning property which sleeps up to eight adults, featuring its own private garden with a luxury hot tub, and boasting glorious views over the farm and the surrounding countryside. Our three storey luxury treehouse, King Arthur’s Willow, sleeps up to six people and offers incredible panoramic views of our lush green meadows, which are bursting with colour and wildlife during the summertime.
For a more intimate retreat, we also have unique Shire Houses, inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Sleeping up to four people, we have three stunning shire houses located in their own secluded part of the farm. They’re decorated with incredible attention to detail, just like a real hobbit’s house!
Most suitable for summer stays are our four luxury canvas lodges. Perfect for couples or family retreats, our super-chic lodges are fabulously spacious and well furnished, boasting a master bedroom, twin bedroom, and cosy bunk bed barns. The attractive living and dining area is great for gathering your loved ones and spending quality time together, and each lodge also has its own covered veranda with outdoor seating, ideal for alfresco dining and enjoying the best of nature.
Mill Farm Glamping is also home to the beautiful Squirrel Lodge, the very first two storey canvas lodge in the UK! Excellently suited to larger family or group getaways, Squirrel Lodge boasts a master bedroom with a four-poster bed, a kitchen area with a large fridge, a four-ring gas hob for cooking, an elegant wood-burning stove, and a new-style bunk barn with a funky wagon wheel window – a fantastic treat for little ones. Upstairs are two rustic bedrooms which can act as twin or double rooms, separated by a small landing area. In total, Squirrel Lodge can sleep up to six adults with an additional two children.
Our treehouse, farmhouse and shire houses all have private hot tubs in their outdoor areas. For guests who are staying in the canvas lodges and wish to use a hot tub, the treehouse’s hot tub can be hired for a night. This means all our guests can spend wonderful summer evenings sipping on something sparkling and gazing up at the stars in luxurious peace and comfort.
Fabulously Fun Activities at Mill Farm Glamping
Having the time of your life at Mill Farm Glamping doesn’t just stop at your accommodation; we’ve got a whole host of fantastic activities here on the farm for everyone to take part in.
One of our favourite activities which is brand new for 2023 is walking our friendly alpacas! Guests can explore the farm and surrounding Wiltshire countryside whilst walking three fluffy alpacas, guided by Bronte, Farmer Chris’ wife. You can even feed our furry friends at the end of the walk.
Fancy yourself as the next Robin Hood? Try your hand at archery, guided by our very own Farmer George, who is a qualified archery instructor and will help teach you the correct techniques for a fun and safe archery lesson. Suitable for all ages and abilities, grab your friends and family and see who can hit the bullseye first.
Perfect for the young and the young at heart, our straw play arena is a fortress of endless fun. Edged with large square bales of hay and with a big landing space in the middle filled with loose straw, it’s a wonderful area to fly around, clinging onto the swinging rope until you can’t hold on any longer!
If you’re looking for something to keep the little ones entertained, there’s no better activity than donkey rides. Children aged ten and under can enjoy a ride on our friendly donkey, Moto. Supported by Hannah and Lucy, our resident donkey enthusiasts, we ensure the safety of your children as you explore the surrounding fields of Wiltshire.

Just a 30-minute drive from Mill Farm, visitors can experience the unforgettable atmosphere of the Stone Circle and follow in the footsteps of the prehistoric people who lived there 4,000 years ago.
If breathing in the fresh country air on a long, leisurely walk sounds like the perfect way to spend a summer’s day, then Mill Farm is just a stone’s throw away from a fantastic range of different walks. Wander down the Kennet & Avon Canal, just a 10-minute drive from Mill Farm, discover the beautiful Westbury White Horse, or walk in the footsteps of soldiers at Roundway Down, both of which are just a 20-minute drive away.
One of the most incredible areas of natural beauty in Wiltshire is Langford Lakes Nature Reserve, which lies just a 35-minute drive from Mill Farm.
